Setting Up the Homepage
- Go to Pages > Add New
- Inside the Page Attributes meta box, select “Homepage” for the “Template” setting
- Enter the page title and content and click Publish.
This page template will automatically display campaigns under the page content. It will also automatically pull out the first image or video within the page content and display that at the top of the page, above the title.
Add a Slider
You can also add a slider to the top of the page content instead of an image or video. Three slider plugins are currently supported:

Is it possible to make the campaign the front page? We only have one campaign and want it to be front and center when people come to our site. We don’t need the “latest projects” listed, and it is just small and to the left as a single post.

Hi Virginia,
That’s a good question! It isn’t possible out of the box, but I just put together a code sample that shows how you could do this.
See https://gist.github.com/ericnicolaas/dd373a615d2a4c29642460fd4181bf6b and read the notes below which show how to add this to your site. You will need to be using the child theme.
Cheers,
Eric

Hello, I like your plugin so much. But I have a two questions
1. Does this plugin has any report?
2. What about login. If somone registr and login and he is not main admin does he can creat campaing?

There is no detailed reporting functionality in Charitable at the moment, but we do include a donations export feature that allows you to get a CSV of all donations.
When someone registers, they cannot automatically create campaigns. If you want them to be able to create campaigns, you need the Ambassadors extension: https://www.wpcharitable.com/extensions/charitable-ambassadors/

Eric

This is a handy plugin that allows you to set any post, page or custom post type as the main landing page. We have used it on many sites on multisite networks and it works great. I checked and campaigns do appear in the selector identified as such.
In the WP Readings Settings page it adds a drop down selector that displays a list of all pages, posts and custom post types and lets you select the one you want to be the front page of your site. We think it is the cat’s meow. 🙂

Which version of Reach are you using? Do you have Charitable installed?

I have the same problem. I have just uploaded the latest version of Reach from WordPress.org. There is no option for Home Page under Page Attributes.
No I don’t have Charitable installed as I don’t need it.

The Home Page template is only available if you have Charitable installed, because it’s a template focused on displaying the most recent Charitable campaigns you have created.

Is there a way to remove the Profile and Login buttons from the template’s header?

You can do it by overriding the partials/account-links.php file in your child theme. See http://demo.wpcharitable.com/reach/documentation/how-to-use-the-child-theme/
